The Diagnostic
What is NexStep-CPR™?
NexStep-CPR™ is a Contextual People Review — a structured diagnostic that assesses an organisation’s people architecture, operating systems, and decision structures against what its current stage, scale, and trajectory actually require. The output is a board-grade risk assessment and a sequenced strategic roadmap. It is not an engagement survey, not an HR audit, and not a consulting opinion dressed in software.
What makes this different from an engagement survey?
Engagement surveys measure sentiment. NexStep-CPR™ measures structural alignment. The platform establishes your operating context first — stage, scale, sector, capital structure, competitive environment — then calibrates which dimensions of people architecture carry the most weight for your specific situation. Two companies at different stages answering the same questions will receive fundamentally different assessments, because what constitutes risk at Series A is different from what constitutes risk at a PE-backed enterprise.
What does “contextual” mean in practice?
Before any assessment begins, the platform captures your organisation’s operating context across multiple dimensions — investment stage, organisation size, revenue model, growth ambition, competitive intensity, regulatory burden, and several others. This context determines how the diagnostic is calibrated: which parameters carry the most materiality, how findings are interpreted, and what the roadmap prioritises. The same data pattern produces different conclusions for a 40-person Series A company and a 2,000-person PE-backed enterprise — because the architectural demands are different.
Is this a replacement for management consulting?
It replaces the diagnostic phase of a consulting engagement — the part where consultants spend weeks conducting interviews, analysing organisational data, and forming an initial hypothesis. NexStep-CPR™ delivers that diagnostic in days rather than weeks, with structured multi-stakeholder evidence rather than consultant interpretation. For organisations that want to go deeper, the Augment tier adds independent personal interviews, and the platform’s strategic roadmap provides the kind of prioritised action plan that consulting engagements typically charge separately for.

The Process
How long does the entire process take?
From context establishment to report delivery, a typical diagnostic completes within a few days. The sponsor defines the operating context in approximately 30 minutes. Each respondent completes a structured assessment in 20 to 30 minutes. Once all cohorts have responded, the platform synthesises findings and delivers the diagnostic output. There is no waiting period, no scheduling of analyst time, and no manual report assembly.
Who participates in the assessment?
The assessment collects structured input from distinct organisational vantage points. Each respondent self-identifies their perspective — senior leadership, people function, mid-management, recent joiners, or broader organisation — and the platform calibrates the assessment accordingly. The number and composition of respondents is configured by the sponsor based on the organisation’s size. Every response is fully anonymous and aggregated at the cohort level before any analysis occurs.
What is the respondent experience like?
Respondents receive a secure, anonymous link. There is no account creation, no identity declaration, and no visibility into who else is responding. The assessment takes 20 to 30 minutes and is designed to feel like a structured professional conversation, not a survey. Questions are calibrated to the organisation’s context and the respondent’s vantage point. Each participant is told at the outset that individual responses will never be shared — only cohort-level patterns appear in the diagnostic.
What does the sponsor need to do?
The sponsor registers, defines the organisation’s operating context through a structured process, reviews the materiality calibration, configures respondent cohorts, and activates the diagnostic. Once activated, the platform manages respondent distribution, reminders, and collection. The sponsor monitors progress through a real-time dashboard and receives the diagnostic output once collection is complete. The total active time for the sponsor is approximately 30 minutes for setup, plus the time they choose to spend reviewing results.
03
The Output
What do I receive at each tier?
Diagnose delivers a Contextual People Review with a risk assessment report and interactive risk dashboard — the evidence base. Strategize adds advanced analytical dashboarding, a curated strategic roadmap sequenced across three time horizons, and a dedicated strategy session with your team. Augment builds on Strategize with up to ten independent, confidential personal interviews that validate patterns, add qualitative depth, and produce an interview-enriched assessment. Each tier builds on the previous — you can begin at any level and upgrade after reviewing your results.
Is the output presentable to a board or investment committee?
Every deliverable is designed to the standard a partner at a major consulting firm would present. The risk assessment report, the interactive dashboard, and the PDF export are all formatted for board-level consumption without modification. The language is institutional, the data visualisation is clean and precise, and the findings are structured as evidence-backed conclusions — not survey summaries. Investors, board members, and CHROs should be able to use these outputs directly in governance conversations.
What is the strategic roadmap?
The roadmap translates diagnostic findings into a sequenced action plan across three time horizons — immediate priorities, near-term foundations, and strategic investments. Each initiative is contextualised to your organisation’s operating reality: the stage you are at, the resources you have, and the risks that carry the most materiality. Initiatives include effort estimates, ownership recommendations, and measurable outcome metrics. The roadmap is not a generic playbook — it is a direct response to what the diagnostic surfaced about your organisation specifically.
Can I export the results?
The complete diagnostic is available as an interactive report within the platform, as a visual analytics dashboard for deeper exploration, and as a PDF export formatted for board presentation. The PDF — referred to as the Board Pack — is designed to be shared, printed, and presented without requiring access to the platform. All exports maintain the same analytical depth and visual standard as the in-platform experience.

For Investors & Portfolio Teams
How does this fit into investment due diligence?
NexStep-CPR™ addresses the dimension of due diligence that most investment processes handle through interviews and intuition — the people architecture. Financial models and technology audits have structured frameworks; people assessment typically does not. The platform provides comparable rigour: a context-calibrated, evidence-based diagnostic that produces findings an investment committee can evaluate alongside financial and technical due diligence.
Can I deploy this across portfolio companies?
The platform is built for portfolio-scale deployment. Each portfolio company runs its own independent diagnostic with its own operating context, but the fund or portfolio operations team maintains visibility across all engagements. The diagnostic framework is standardised — which means findings are comparable across portfolio companies even though each assessment is calibrated to its specific context. Enterprise and fund-level pricing structures are available for multi-company deployment.
What does the platform reveal that interviews cannot?
Three things. First, structural patterns that no individual can see from their vantage point — the divergence between what leadership perceives and what the organisation experiences. Second, evidence density — the diagnostic aggregates structured input from multiple organisational layers simultaneously, producing findings that would take weeks of interviews to assemble. Third, objectivity — the assessment is context-calibrated and algorithmically synthesised, not filtered through a consultant’s prior assumptions or relationship dynamics.
Is this relevant for pre-investment or post-investment?
Both. Pre-investment, it provides the people architecture dimension of due diligence — evidence that the operating structure can support the growth trajectory the investment thesis assumes. Post-investment, it becomes a diagnostic instrument for portfolio operations teams: identifying where the people architecture needs to evolve as the company scales through successive stages. Many investors run an initial diagnostic at deal close and repeat it at inflection points — funding rounds, leadership transitions, or significant organisational change.
05
Data, Privacy & Security
Who can see individual responses?
No one. Individual responses are never visible to the sponsor, the organisation, or anyone at NexStep. All analysis operates at the cohort level — patterns emerge from aggregated data across respondent groups, not from individual answers. This is a structural guarantee of the platform architecture, not a policy promise. The system is designed so that individual attribution is not possible.
Where is the data stored?
All data is hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region, with encryption at rest and in transit. The platform operates on dedicated infrastructure, not shared multi-tenant environments. Data residency and compliance requirements for specific jurisdictions can be discussed as part of enterprise deployment.
Can data be deleted after the engagement?
Sponsors retain full control over their data. Project data can be archived or deleted through the platform at any time. Once deleted, the data is permanently removed from all systems.
Is the platform compliant with data protection regulations?
The platform is architected with GDPR compliance principles: data minimisation, purpose limitation, respondent anonymity by design, and clear data retention controls. For organisations operating under specific regulatory frameworks, NexStep-CPR™ can provide detailed documentation of data handling practices and compliance architecture as part of the enterprise onboarding process.
06
Pricing & Access
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is per diagnostic engagement, not per seat or per user. The cost is determined by two factors: the tier selected (Diagnose, Strategize, Augment) and the respondent cohort size. This structure reflects the institutional nature of the product — you are commissioning a diagnostic, not subscribing to a tool. Enterprise and fund-level pricing for multi-company or portfolio-wide deployment is available through direct conversation.
What is Founders Launch?
Founders Launch is the inaugural market release of NexStep-CPR™. During this period, the Diagnose tier is offered on a complimentary basis — a complete Contextual People Review including the risk assessment report and interactive dashboard, at no cost. Strategize and Augment tiers are available at Founders Launch rates. This is not a free trial or a limited demo. It is a full diagnostic engagement with full deliverables, offered during the platform’s market introduction phase through 31st May 2026.
Can I upgrade from one tier to another?
At any point after receiving your Diagnose results, you can upgrade to Strategize or Augment. The diagnostic data carries forward — there is no need to re-run the assessment. You pay only the incremental difference between tiers. Many sponsors begin with Diagnose to evaluate the depth and quality of the diagnostic, then upgrade once they see the evidence base and want the strategic interpretation and roadmap that Strategize provides.
What happens after the Founders Launch period ends?
Standard pricing takes effect for new engagements initiated after the Founders Launch window closes. Any diagnostic initiated during the Founders Launch period retains its pricing terms regardless of when it completes. The platform, its methodology, and its output remain unchanged — the Founders Launch pricing reflects the inaugural release positioning, not a difference in product capability.
